Duties of Room Attendant Jobs in Canada:

Job duties of this position include:

• Washbasins, countertops, toilets, mirrors, baths, and showers are cleaned and disinfected.
• Drying and cleaning glass surfaces.
• Dishwashing and stowing clean glasses and silverware.
• Drying and cleaning additional items, including pots and utensils.
• Cleaning and emptying garbage cans.
• Dusting fixtures and furniture.
• When necessary, vacuuming carpets and upholstery and relocating furniture.
• Assembling mattresses and replacing linens when necessary.
• In restrooms, replace soiled linens and used amenities.
• Mopping and sweeping the surfaces.
• Restocking writing materials, coffee, and glassware, among other room supplies.
• Confirming that every appliance is operational and disclosing any shortcomings.
• Inspecting unoccupied rooms and reporting any issues or conducting necessary repairs.
• When necessary, assist in the cleansing of public areas, restrooms, and elevators.
• Rearrange conveniences and furniture by the specified layout.
• Attend to requests from guests for supplementary items.
• Removing products from room service.
• Observe and report hotel property damage.
• Additional responsibilities as designated.

Prerequisites:

Prior experience in sanitation and customer service is an asset. Required to be available to work a flexible schedule, which may include overtime. Prospective candidates must possess the ability to effortlessly bend, lift, push, and drag. This physically demanding position requires the ability to press and lift to 50 pounds and 25 pounds, respectively. Currently, we are unable to offer sponsorship or an LMIA; therefore, you must provide your work permit to apply.

Maximum occupancy is restricted in the units to guarantee a comfortable living environment.
